Another former Jamn refugee lands at Hot 96-9

It's been like a non-stop reunion of former Jamn personalities and staffers at rhythmic/hip-hop WBQT/Hot 96-9. Program director "Cadillac" Jack McCarthy, music director/mix coordinator Roy Barboza and on-air jocks Pebbles, Melissa, Ramiro, Deirdre Dagata have all joined Jamn's rival since its format launch in January 2013. And, starting this afternoon another very familiar voice/name will be a part of Hot's weekday line-up - veteran DJ Bobby Blaze has been named station's new afternoon drive(3pm-7pm) jock. Blaze held the same shift at Jamn from March 2003 until August 2013(BRW 8/9/13) when he was let go due to budget cutbacks. He officially takes over from Jackson Blue who was named Country 102.5's permanent morning co-host last month.(BRW 3/1).  Full release on Bobby Blaze's hiring is here.

WBQT/Hot 96.9's line-up now looks like this :

• Mornings (6-10a): The GetUp Crew with Ramiro, Pebbles, Melissa & Wiggy
• Middays (10a-3p): Deirdre Dagata
• Afternoons (3-7p): Bobby Blaze
• Mixes (9a, 12p and 4:15p): DJ Roy Barboza
• Weekends: Reggie Beas
