Magic 106.7's variety once again includes Christmas tunes
It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas.
Boston's WMJX/Magic 106.7 flipped the official holiday switch on Friday(11/20) at 5pm, changing formats to all-Christmas music with Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas".
This is the fourth year in the row that the FM radio station, owned by Greater Media,, has rebranded as “Boston's Christmas Station” for the holiday season.
This year Magic will have commercial-free "Christmas hour" at 8:15am and 2:15pm each weekday. In addition, the MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS tradition will continue with commercial-free music from 6pm Christmas Eve through 8pm Christmas Day. More details from station's press release.
(If you miss the regular Magic 106.7's playlist of Adele, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, etc, you can find them all on WMJX 106.7 HD2 sub-channel stream thru December 25. WMJX 106.7 HD2 is typically all-Christmas during the year).
