WEEI and the Sports Hub square off at the Super Bowl

Boston’s two all-sports radio stations have, for all practical purposes, had moved to Phoenix this past week. And with good reason.

The Patriots are playing the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl at University of Phoenix Stadium on Sunday night. WEEI 93.7 and WBZ 98.5 had their morning, midday and afternoon drive shows broadcasting from Radio Row at Phoenix Convention Center. And both stations will also air the game and special programming leading up to it.

WBZ 98.5/The Sports Hub is the home station of the Patriots will have the game broadcast with Bob Socci and Scott Zolak at 6:30pm preceded by a 3-hour pregame show at 3:30pm. Station's regular weekday afternoon antagonists Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti will also be on the air with a bonus Sunday show from 1pm to 3:30pm.

WEEI 93.7 will bring the game via national call from Westwood One at 6:30pm. The station will pick up Westwood One's special pregame programming starting at 2pm preceded by its local "NFL Sunday" show at 9am hosted by Greg Dickerson and featuring Christopher Price and Steve DeOssie.

SiriusXM subscribers will also have access to WBZ's game broadcast on Sirius 85/XM 85 and on-line ch.818; plus national, Seattle Seahwaks team and 10 foreign language broadcasts on various channels. During the halftime show, SiriusXM will offer listeners a broadcast of the on-field musical performance by Katy Perry with Lenny Kravitz on SiriusXM Hits 1.

After the game,  WBZ will air extended postgame show hosted by Gary Tanguay and Andy Gresh from Phoenix while WEEI will have Mike Mutnansky with Fred Smerlas at its Brighton studios. WEEI will go local overnight from 2am to 6am with Super Bowl All Night Show.
